“Hades and Persephone” -Hades, the king of the underworld, and Persephone, the goddess of spring and fertility, were married when the maiden was picking flowers and the drought that opened up swallowed her. The girl’s mother missed her daughter very much, and according to the decision of the chief god Zeus, Persephone still spent part of her time on earth.
