Pygmalion – The ancient Greek sculptor Pygmalion was no longer interested in ordinary women when he met the daughters of Propoetus. He made himself a statue of the ideal woman out of ivory, and in gratitude for his devotion, Aphrodite turned it into a real woman of flesh and blood.
Victoria Olt is a young Estonian artist who has lived, studied and worked in Spain. His main tool is watercolour, and his ethereal paintings blend classical realism with the fresh colours of contemporary art. Romantic cards from the series “Forgotten Gods” – antique myths and famous love stories.
